Curtin University Beginners Class Fees *
*All fees incur a 5.5% processing fee
Beginners Classes run each Curtin University Semester at Curtin Stadium.
10 week course. Includes first Have A Go session free.
Equipment is provided. Please wear long pants and gym shoes and don’t forget your water bottle!

When joining, you will also need to sign our Indemnity Form. The form outlines our clubs policies, rules and regulations. Signing the Indemnity Form is required for all members.
Also, all Club fencers (except Beginners) MUST BE affiliated with Fencing WA (FWA), the state fencing body. This is a requirement for insurance purposes, even if you do not wish to compete in state or national competitions. (If you wish to compete nationally you’ll need to add AFF Capitation to your FWA affiliation. Find out more by clicking on ‘Affiliation and Costs’ on the FWA site: Affiliation and Costs
Curtin University Beginners Course fencers do not have to affiliate with FWA during the 10 week course.
Fencers at the end of the Beginners Course will be invited to join our club. Affiliation with FWA will then be required.
